Seneca State Forest

Enjoy the great outdoors by staying overnight in a rustic cabin designed to give you a look into early pioneer life in the region. The cabins don’t have electricity or running water but they do have gas refrigerators and freezers, water from hand-pumped wells and vault toilets. One recently constructed accessible cabin includes supplementary gas heat. Their location, deep in the woods with the Greenbrier River flowing adjacent to a couple of them, make these cabins a perfect choice if you’re wanting a peaceful vacation respite. The cabins are fully equipped with pots and pans, bed linens and cleaning supplies – everything you need for a weekend or a week.
